Historical  Helps with digestion and can be used as a local antiseptic. Analgesic.
How to use Used in Jamaican soups, stews, and curries. It also is used in pickling spice, spiced tea mixes, cakes, cookies, and pies. Food producers use it in ketchup, pickles, and sausages.
Combinations Nutmeg, Cinnamon, and Cloves

Allspice contains the following nutrients:   Calcium, Cooper, Manganese, Phosphorus, selenium, zinc, Vitamin A, and Vitamin C.

Allspice is traditionally used to treat indigestion, diarrhea and flatulence. It is also used as a paste to soothe and relieve toothache and as a mouthwash to freshen the breath.  The aroma of this spices is very appealing and is a popular essential oil.  When using as an essential oil it must be diluted.   For example 15 drops into 1/2 cup of almond oil, then shake well.
